Peach Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. ripe peaches, mashed
    4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 bottle liquid smoke
Preparation
    Mix fully ripe, mashed peaches with sugar and lemon juice. Let stand for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add 1/2 bottle liquid pectin; stir for 2 minutes.
    Add to peach-sugar mixture. Mix well; pour into clean jars.
    Cover with lids.
    Let stand at room temperature 1 hour, then refrigerate.
    Jam must be stored in refrigerator or freezer.
    Will keep 3 to 4 weeks in refrigerator or 6 months in freezer.
