Sausage-Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground pork sausage (I prefer hot)
    1 c. long grain rice (not Minute rice)
    1 can beef consomme
    1 can water
    1 small can or jar mushrooms
    1 pkg. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Brown and drain sausage.
    In a 7 x 11-inch casserole dish, put rice in first.
    Add beef consomme and water.
    Add browned sausage. On top of that, add mushrooms and the slivered almonds.
    Bake, uncovered, at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour, or until brown.
