Family Favorite Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. medium potatoes
    1 large onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Peel potatoes and slice 1 1/2 inches thick.
    Slice onion 1/4-inch thick.
    Place in large saucepan and add salt, pepper and enough water to cover.
    Cook on medium-high until potatoes are tender.
    Drain off liquid.
    Add Velveeta and sour cream until well blended.
    Place mixture in large casserole dish and bake at 350\u00b0 until bubbly.
    (Can also be heated in microwave or crock-pot.)
