Sheepherder'S Hearty Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. diced onion
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes, crushed
    3/4 c. shredded Jack cheese
    2/3 c. milk
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 dash bottled hot pepper sauce
    3 1/3 c. drained, cooked baby lima beans
    16 oz. can whole kernel corn
    1 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Saute celery and onion in butter and blend in flour.
    Add water and milk.
    Cook, stirring until thickened and smooth.
    Add beans, corn (undrained), tomatoes and cheese.
    Heat thoroughly, but do not boil.
    Add hot pepper sauce, salt and pepper to taste.
