Jalapeno Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. cornmeal
2 eggs, well beaten
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
3/4 c. cream-style corn
3 jalapeno peppers, grated
1/4 c. melted butter
1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
1 small onion, chopped
Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except cheese.
Pour half of mixture into a greased 9-inch pan.
Sprinkle about 3/4 of the cheese over this, saving the rest for topping.
Add remaining mixture and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
