Ingredients

2 c. butter
2 c. granulated sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
5 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1 (24 oz.) bag chocolate chips
1 (8 oz.) Hershey bar, grated
3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream together butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar; add eggs and vanilla.
Mix together flour, oatmeal which has been spun in blender (or use finely chopped oatmeal), salt, baking powder and baking soda.
Mix all ingredients together, then add chocolate chips, Hershey bar and nuts.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet. Make golf-ball sized cookies and place on cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes about 9 dozen cookies.
