Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 large Vidalia onions
    4 Tbsp. flour
    4 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. half and half
    salt and pepper to taste
    12 oz. shredded Swiss cheese or more
Preparation
    Slice onions and boil about 15 minutes; drain. Make a white sauce by melting butter and stirring in flour, slowly adding half and half and salt and pepper.
    Place onions in 2-quart casserole; top with cheese, then pour white sauce over top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
