Refrigerator Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 to 12 medium cucumbers, sliced
    3 medium onions, sliced
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. turmeric
    3 c. cider vinegar
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. salt
Preparation
    Mix mustard seed, celery seed, turmeric, vinegar, sugar and salt.
    Put cucumbers and onions
    into glass or plastic gallon jar.
    Pour this liquid over slices and stir lightly and stir every day for 2 weeks.
    Store in refrigerator.
    Do not can.
    May be used next day and will keep indefinitely in refrigerator.
