Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 lb. margarine (4 sticks)
2 eggs
5 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream sugar and margarine.
Add eggs.
Stir flour and baking soda together and gradually add to cream mixture.
Add vanilla. Stir in nuts.
Make dough into rolls in wax paper and chill thoroughly.
Slice 1/8-inch thick and bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 10 minutes.
