Chilled Strawberry Cake Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
2 Tbsp. sugar
pinch of salt
1 (12 oz.) tub Cool Whip
2 (10 oz.) pkg. sliced frozen strawberries
1 baked angel food cake
2 1/2 c. boiling water
Preparation

Dissolve jello in 2 1/2 cups boiling water.
Stir in strawberries, sugar and salt.
Cool until it begins to thicken, then fold in Cool Whip.
Break up half of angel food cake into chunks.
Cover bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
Pour half of mixture over top.
Break up other half of cake, form another layer.
Cover with other half of mixture.
Refrigerate 4 to 5 hours.
Cut into squares.
