Shrimp, Chicken Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, boiled and deboned
    2 cans tomatoes or 8 or 9 fresh tomatoes
    4 c. chopped celery
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 bunches green onions, chopped
    2 bell peppers, chopped
    4 c. okra
    1 gal. shrimp
    2 bay leaves
    3 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 c. flour
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Boil and debone chicken.
    Use
    the
    broth to start your gumbo. Put chicken back
    into
    broth
    and
    then add tomatoes, celery, onion,
    green onions and bell peppers.
    (Cook celery, onions
    and bell
    peppers in a little butter before adding to chicken
    broth until
    tender.)
    Add okra, bay leaves, parsley flakes,
    thyme, red pepper, garlic salt and flour.
    (Put flour in
    skillet and brown until real dark, almost black.) Salt and pepper to taste.
    Cook until almost done, then add the shrimp. Serve over cooked rice.
