Chili Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

40 to 50 medium-sized tomatoes, peeled and chopped
6 sweet peppers, chopped (red and green for color)
1 to 3 hot peppers, chopped
4 to 6 large onions, chopped
3 Tbsp. celery seed
3 Tbsp. mustard seed
2 bay leaves
2 tsp. whole cloves
2 tsp. ground ginger
2 tsp. ground nutmeg
4 (3-inch) pieces stick cinnamon
1 lb. firmly packed brown sugar
3 c. vinegar
3 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
-
Burn a lighted candle nearby when preparing onions.
The candle burns away the onion smell gases and you can complete the job without tears.
