Corn Bread For Two - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
    1 large or 2 small eggs
    pinch of sugar
    pinch of salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening (approximately)
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients well. Add milk and egg(s).
    Blend well. Add melted shortening and blend. Bake at 350\u00b0 in whatever you choose, pan or skillet.
    Let rise on bottom rack.
    Place on top to brown.
