Ingredients

1 c. butter
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. sugar
1 (3.5 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate or vanilla pudding
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream butter, sugars and pudding mix.
Add eggs; beat well. Beat in vanilla.
Combine flour and baking soda.
Add gradually to creamed mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove to wire racks to cool.
