Dorothy'S Yellow Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    3 eggs
    1 c. milk
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs and milk.
    Beat at medium speed until well blended.
    Add remaining ingredients and beat again until smooth.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 in a greased cake pan.
    Frost with desired frosting.
