Sauce Provencale For Broiled Steak Or Roast Prime Rib - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 tomatoes, peeled, cut into 6 wedges each and seeded
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. chopped green onion
    1/2 c. dry white wine
    1/2 c. butter
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. snipped parsley
Preparation
    Sprinkle tomatoes with sugar and set aside.
    Melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
    Add onion and heat through.
    Add wine; cook and stir until liquid is slightly reduced.
    Add tomatoes; heat through.
    Add remaining ingredients; heat, stirring gently until butter melts.
    Serves 6 to 8.
