Butter Pecan Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. sugar
4 tsp. cornstarch
3/4 c. whipping cream
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

In a heavy saucepan, combine the sugars and cornstarch. Gradually stir in cream until smooth; bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook and stir for 2 to 3 minutes or until slightly thickened. Remove from heat; stir in butter until melted. Add pecans. Serve warm over ice cream or pound cake.
