Cottontail Club(Daddy'S Stuff) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops
    6 pieces round steak
    6 pieces venison steak
    salt and pepper
    garlic salt
    sage
    Italian seasoning
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 (16 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    2 mild yellow mellow peppers
    1/3 c. pepper juice from jar
    1 c. Dago red wine
    water to cover meat
Preparation
    Sear all meat in olive oil.
    Season with salt, pepper, garlic salt, sage and Italian seasoning.
    Remove meat from pan and saute onions, then put meat back in pan.
    Add tomato sauce, diced peppers and juice.
    Add water to cover meat.
    Simmer 1/2 hour and add wine.
    Simmer another 1 1/2 hours.
    Thicken with flour.
    Add a dash of soda just before serving (blend fat into gravy).
    Serve over mashed potatoes, rice or polenta.
    Seasonings may be adjusted to taste.
