Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) pkg. Oreo cookies, crushed
2 sticks margarine
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
2/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. evaporated milk
2 sq. unsweetened baking chocolate
1 to 1 1/2 c. peanuts, if desired
Preparation

Melt one stick margarine and add to cookie crumbs.
Pat in a 9 x 13-inch pan and freeze.
Spoon ice cream over cookie layer. Sprinkle with peanuts, if desired.
Top with cooled topping.
