Butterscotch Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 Tbsp. soda
    1/2 Tbsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift the dry ingredients together.
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add beaten eggs, vanilla and flour mixture.
    Shape into round loaf, wrap in waxed paper and chill overnight.
    Slice in thin slices.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
