Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium size potatoes
4 Tbsp. butter
4 Tbsp. flour
2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. grated American cheese
Preparation

Peel potatoes and slice medium thin.
Make a white sauce of butter, flour, salt and milk.
When thickened, remove from stove and add grated cheese.
Stir cheese into sauce.
Place sliced potatoes in a 3-quart casserole.
Cover with hot white sauce and bake, uncovered, at 375\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours after covering mixture with buttered bread crumbs.
