Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

1/2 lb. butter or margarine
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa
1 1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream the butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, and blend well. Sift together dry ingredients and add alternately with milk. Add vanilla. Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour and 25 minutes at 325\u00b0.
