Ingredients

1 qt. milk
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Heat milk in 2-quart saucepan.
Stir in slowly rest of ingredients, thinned by adding a little milk or water mixed together to make a paste.
Keep stirring until thick.
Good layered with graham crackers or in baked pie shell.
