Country Captain Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Uncle Ben's rice
1/3 c. raisins
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. curry (or 2 tsp. if you really like)
2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken, cut up
2 c. water
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine rice and raisins in shallow 13 x 9-inch dish.
Melt margarine in a large skillet.
Stir in curry. Add chicken and brown well on all sides.
Arrange on rice mixture.
Add water, tomato sauce, salt and Worcestershire sauce to drippings in skillet.
Bring to a boil.
Pour over chicken. Cover and bake for 40 to 45 minutes until chicken is tender. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
