Kuftehs(Meat Balls) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. ground chuck
    3 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. flour
    1 onion, grated
    2 large potatoes, microwaved and mashed
    1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except tomatoes, until well blended. Form meat mixture into 2-inch size balls (may need a bit more flour to help the balls to hold together).
    Brown the balls in olive oil on medium heat using a nonstick skillet.
    Carefully place the meat balls in a medium saucepan; add tomatoes.
    Cover and simmer on low for 10 minutes.
    Tastes great served with pita bread toast.
