Mattee'S Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. quick oatmeal
1 stick oleo
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans
1 c. coconut (optional)

Preparation

Mix together water, oatmeal and oleo; let stand.
Mix sugar, brown sugar and eggs.
Add flour, cinnamon, soda, vanilla, nutmeg, pecans and coconut.
Spread into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
