Ranchero - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck (raw)
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 clove garlic, minced
    3/4 c. uncooked instant rice
    1 large onion, minced
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
    1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, sliced or shredded
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Combine ground chuck, oil, garlic, salt, rice, onion, green pepper, chili powder and tomatoes; mix in beans last.
    Mix well. Pour into greased 2-quart casserole.
    Bake 50 minutes at 350\u00b0, then top with cheese and bake 5 minutes longer.
