Mushroom Steaks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms with juice
    1 c. quick oatmeal
    1/2 tsp. powdered bay leaf
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. sage
    1 Tbsp. Vegex or bouillon
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Add enough water to mushroom juice to make 1/2 cup.
    Heat and dissolve butter and Vegex in it.
    Mix all ingredients except soup. Fry in patties.
    Place fried patties in casserole and cover with can of soup diluted with milk.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for about 45 minutes.
    Vegex is a meat-like flavoring obtained in health food stores.
