Carrot Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 c. salad oil
4 eggs, separated
2 plus c. shredded carrots
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients in large bowl.
Add oil, egg yolks and carrots.
Mix well.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Fold into first mixture.
Pour into greased tube pan or spider pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours in a tube pan or bake for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours in spider pan.
Add glaze to cake while it is hot.
