Hearty Chicken Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. hot mashed potatoes
    1 c. shredded Cheddar
    1 can French fried onions
    1 1/2 c. cooked chicken, cubed
    1 (10 oz.) bag frozen mixed vegetables, thawed and drained
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/4 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    In medium bowl, combine potatoes, 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 can onions.
    Spoon mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Spread across bottom and sides to form shell.
    In large bowl, combine chicken, vegetables, soup, milk and seasonings; pour into shell.
    Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Top with remaining cheese and onions; bake, uncovered, until onions are golden brown.
    Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
