Refrigerated Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. all-bran
    2 c. 40% bran or Raisin Bran
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. boiling water
    1 qt. buttermilk
    3 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    5 tsp. soda
    1 c. shortening
    5 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix bran, salt, water and buttermilk together; let cool. Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Stir into bran mixture.
    Combine flour and soda; add to bran mixture, stirring until moistened.
    Will keep in refrigerator in covered container for 4 to 6 weeks.
    Spoon out what you need into greased muffin tin.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until done, approximately 25 minutes.
