Pineapple Icebox Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 box vanilla wafers
    1/4 lb. butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1/2 box vanilla wafers
    1/2 pt. heavy cream, whipped
Preparation
    Layer crushed wafers.
    Cream butter, sugar and eggs; layer on wafers.
    Layer pineapple (strained), heavy cream and second layer wafers.
    Refrigerate several hours.
