Pumpkin Walnut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4 large eggs
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. corn oil
1 lb. can pumpkin
1 c. chopped nuts
confectioners sugar (if desired)
Preparation

On wax paper, sift together first 5 ingredients.
In large bowl, beat eggs on high speed until yolks and whites are combined. Gradually add sugar, beating until lemon color (thick).
Beating continually, pour in corn oil.
With mixer at low speed, blend in sifted dry ingredients alternately with pumpkin, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
Beat until smooth after each addition.
Stir in nuts.
Turn into ungreased angel food pan. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Cool on wire rack.
Sprinkle with confectioners sugar if desired.
