Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken breasts
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1/3 tsp. pepper
    2 c. carrots, sliced
    1 c. celery, sliced
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. parsley, snipped
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a bowl, mix flour, parsley, baking powder, and salt.
    Mix milk and oil and pour into flour mixture.
    Stir with a fork until combined.
    Drop from a tablespoon into six mounds directly onto chicken (do not drop batter into liquid).
    Cover; simmer about 12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into dumplings comes out clean.
    Using a slotted spoon, transfer chicken, dumplings and vegetables to a platter; cover.
