Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 to 2 c. boiling water
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    In a saucepan, mix the sugar and flour well.
    Add the water, egg and lemon juice to your taste.
    Mix well.
    Cook over low heat until thick.
    This is good poured over gingerbread or spice cake.
