Fettuccine Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. fettuccine
    1/2 stick soft butter
    1 c. Parmesan cheese
    1/2 pt. whipping cream (room temperature)
    pepper to taste
    1 to 2 cloves crushed garlic (optional)
Preparation
    Prepare fettuccine according to package directions.
    Drain. Add butter, cheese and whipping cream.
    Mix well.
    Add pepper and garlic to suit taste.
    Serve hot.
