Mother'S Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Combine apples and lemon juice in a large bowl.
    Combine sugars, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg, mixing well.
    Spoon over apple mixture, tossing gently.
    Spoon filling evenly into pastry shell. Dot with butter.
