Easter Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1/2 lemon, grated rind and juice
    1/2 c. melted shortening
    1 pkg. yeast
    5 c. flour
    1/2 orange, grated rind
    3/4 c. scalded milk
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. warm water
Preparation
    Beat eggs, orange rind, lemon rind and juice.
    Mix dry yeast with warm water in a bowl.
    Mix all ingredients and gradually add the flour.
    Knead dough. Cover and let rise 4 to 5 hours.
    Shape into loaves.
    Let rise for 1 hour.
    Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Makes 2 loaves.
