Chinese Almond Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    slivered almonds
    4 c. sifted flour
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. oleo or butter
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. water
    sesame seed
Preparation
    Blanch slivered almonds.
    Sift flour, sugar, salt and baking powder together.
    Cut in oleo until in fine particles.
    Beat egg lightly with water and blend in dry mixture.
    Roll in balls (teaspoon).
    Dip part of ball in sesame seed.
