Chicken And Walnut Sandwiches - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cooked chicken, chopped fine
1 c. English walnuts
1 Tbsp. peanut oil
1/2 c. celery, chopped fine
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Put walnuts in pan and cover with water.
Bring to boil for 3 minutes.
Cool with running water.
Remove skins.
Drain on paper towel.
Place oil in skillet over low heat.
When hot, add walnuts.
Saute walnuts until they turn golden.
Remove from heat. Chop walnuts up fine.
Mix chicken, walnuts, celery, mayonnaise, salt and pepper.
Blend until it makes a spread.
Put on bread or crackers.
Makes 12 sandwiches.
