Cherry Pecan Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. biscuit mix
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. margarine, melted
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients. Stir in pie filling, milk, margarine, egg and vanilla.
    Blend well and fold in nuts.
    Bake in 2 well-greased and floured loaf pans (9 x 5-inches) for 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
    Cool on rack 15 to 20 minutes.
    Turn out on rack top side up.
    Good served with cream cheese as tea sandwiches.
