Hojalda(Fried Bread) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    3 c. self-rising flour
    1 egg
    1 tsp. peanut or vegetable oil
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, mix egg, oil and milk.
    Add flour and mix well.
    Flour a large piece of waxed paper.
    Remove from bowl and knead for about 5 minutes.
    Sprinkle on flour as needed.
    If ingredients become too dry, wet hands with oil.
    Work into a roll and place in an empty bread sack and let set overnight.
    Heat oil in a large pan or kettle.
    Cut into pieces.
    Stretch a little and deep fry until a light brown color.
