Our Favorite Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    3/4 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 medium carrot, grated
    1 small onion, diced
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. ketchup
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Pour milk over bread crumbs; add ground beef, salt, pepper, carrot, onion and eggs.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Pack into a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
    Mix ketchup, brown sugar and mustard; spread mixture on meat loaf.
    Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
    Makes eight servings.
