Oyster Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. small oysters
    5 to 6 c. bread crumbs (white bread, dry)
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. cold water (to moisten)
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. thyme or 1 tsp. sage
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and blend thoroughly.
    Pour into greased 3-quart casserole dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
