Untossed Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head shredded lettuce
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. sliced onions
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, uncooked
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 small can water chestnuts, sliced
1/2 c. shoestring beets
Preparation

Layer, do not mix, these ingredients.
Spread over the top 2 cups mayonnaise with 3 teaspoons sugar.
Top with a small jar Romano cheese.
Refrigerate overnight.
Before serving, garnish with crumbled bacon, 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped, and 1 chopped tomato.
