Strawberry Shortcuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 11 1/2 oz. pkg. frozen pound cake, defrosted
1 envelope (1 tablespoon) unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup of water
1 pkg. (3 3/4 ounces) lemon flavored instant pudding and pie filling
1/4 cup of lemon juice (optional)
1 egg white, unbeaten
1 pt. of fresh strawberries, sliced
1 (7-ounce) can of whipped light cream
strawberries for garnish
Preparation

Cut pound cake lengthwise into 2 layers, and arrange side by side in an 8-inch square pan (cut sides up).
