Creole Pralines - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
3/4 c. evaporated milk
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. pecan halves
Preparation

Mix sugar, salt and milk in saucepan.
Bring slowly to boil to soft ball stage.
Immediately remove from heat and whip until creamy.
Stir in butter, vanilla and pecans.
Drop by spoonfuls on buttered wax paper and cool.
Makes 18 to 20.
