Oatmeal Gems - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. light brown sugar
    1 unbeaten egg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. uncooked quick rolled oats
    3/4 c. flour
    1 can flaked coconut (I use 1 c.)
Preparation
    Cream the first 3 ingredients.
    Add the remaining ingredients. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned.
