Chili Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. hamburger
3 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans
2 qt. tomato juice
2 small onions
3 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 tsp. salt or to taste
Preparation

Put butter or lard in frying pan and brown onions; add hamburger and fry until brown.
Add to tomato juice and beans. Add seasonings and simmer 1/2 to 3/4 hour.
Makes about 7 quarts.
