Peanut Brittle(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Karo white corn syrup
    1 c. dry roasted peanuts
    1 tsp. margarine
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a 1 1/2-quart casserole, mix sugar and syrup.
    Microwave on High for 4 minutes.
    Stir in peanuts and microwave on High for 4 minutes.
    (Mixture will be light brown.)
    Add margarine and vanilla; microwave on High 1 1/2 minutes.
    Add soda, while stirring gently.
    (Mixture will become foamy.)
    Pour into buttered cookie sheet. Let cool completely and break into pieces.
